International call for innovative startups. Deadline: 4 November 2026

The BIND Open Innovation 2026 programme has opened its latest international call for startups and scale-ups with market-ready technologies to collaborate with leading companies and public organisations in the Basque Country. Through paid pilot projects, participants can validate their solutions in real industrial environments while gaining access to mentoring, networking opportunities, executive training, and one of Europe's largest open innovation ecosystems. The programme focuses on technologies supporting smart industry, digitalisation, sustainability, automation, advanced manufacturing, data intelligence, and next-generation connectivity.

Who can apply?

The call is open to innovative startups and scale-ups from around the world with mature, market-ready technological solutions that address one or more of the programme's innovation challenges. Applicants may submit proposals for up to three different use-case areas identified by participating corporate and public-sector partners.

Funding

Rather than providing grants, BIND offers selected startups the opportunity to develop paid innovation projects with corporate clients. Participants also benefit from market validation, proof-of-concept development, international visibility, business support, investor introductions, and a three-month immersion programme.
