EURADA is pleased to invite you to join the second CLIMAAX Web Festival, entitled “From Insights to Action: Advancing Climate Resilience”, on 29 and 30 January 2025. This online event is fast approaching and promises to be an invaluable opportunity for regions and experts to exchange climate adaptation strategies and learn from each others’ successful stories.  

As climate change poses increasingly severe challenges, enhancing regional resilience has become more critical than ever. The CLIMAAX project continues to lead efforts across Europe, supporting 60 regions in assessing climate risks and implementing effective adaptation strategies. By offering access to climate risk profiles, enhanced early warning systems, and guidance on developing risk management plans, CLIMAAX empowers local and regional administrative units to better prepare for and respond to climate risks. 

Taking place along two engaging days, 29 and 30 January, the Web Festival will feature: 

• Day 1: Insights from the pilot regions, including Setúbal (Portugal) and Catalunya (Spain), highlighting key lessons and challenges in implementing the project’s framework and adaptation tools in their contexts. Interactive Q&A sessions will allow participants to engage directly with these experiences;

• Day 2: Practical guidance for the next selected regions, including a keynote speech on European adaptation goals, and sessions on tailoring the CLIMAAX Framework/Toolbox to regional climate risk assessment. The event will conclude with a networking session to connect participants with the Community of Practice and CLIMAAX’s sister projects.
