The Interreg Italy–Croatia Programme has launched its fourth call for project proposals, making €5.859 million available from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to support capitalization initiatives focused on sustainable tourism.

The call focuses on Specific Objective 4.1, which aims to strengthen the role of culture and sustainable tourism as drivers of economic development, social inclusion, and social innovation. Project proposals must build on results already developed through projects funded by programmes participating in the MMM, with the objective of reusing, adapting, or expanding these results within the Italy–Croatia cooperation area.

The initiative seeks to encourage the wider adoption of proven practices and solutions, helping to improve the sustainability and competitiveness of tourist destinations across the Adriatic region through a cross-border cooperation approach based on knowledge transfer.
