Funding for Textile SMEs to Drive Green and Digital Innovation. Deadline: 31 July 2026

The first ELEVATEX Open Call has officially launched. This cascade funding initiative aims to support the green and digital transition of small and medium-sized industrial enterprises (SMEs).

A total of 20 European textile SMEs will be selected to develop new products, processes, or services with high market potential. Specifically, the call seeks to accelerate the textile industry's twin transition (green and digital), promote industrial resilience, and strengthen international competitiveness. These objectives will be achieved by enhancing SMEs' innovation capacity, facilitating their access to new markets and supply chains, and fostering cross-sectoral and interregional cooperation through the establishment of strategic partnerships.

Who can apply

The call is open to for-profit SMEs operating within the textile ecosystem (including startups) that have been established for at least one year at the time of application. The proposed innovation must demonstrate an advanced level of technological maturity, corresponding to a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) above 6.

Funding

The total budget available for the call is €600,000. Each selected SME will receive a non-repayable lump-sum grant of €30,000.
